I posted this article on my personal blog this morning. I care a lot about iPhone accessibility, and I’ve tried to explain what the new iPhone 3G S potentially means for those who would like to use an iPhone, but haven’t been able to do so. As I say in the post, accessibility, and the degree to which developers include support for it in their apps, will be an element of future App Store Pundit reviews.

Ads on This Site

Greetings, and thanks so much for supporting this new podcast venture of mine. You’ll doubtless notice that I have placed Google AdSense ads to this site. I wanted to explain that decision.
I’ve been podcasting for nearly four years, and have always been happy to foot the cost of bandwidth, domains, and audio equipment. But when I launched this show, and begain to buy apps I wanted to review from the App Store, I realized that I might be tempted to save a little money by reviewing more free apps than pay ones. That isn’t very helpful to listeners who can easily download and evaluate the free apps for themselves. You need to know whether the app you’re considering is worth the $1, $2, $5, or $10 the developer wants for it. So, in order to ease the expense for myself, and to overcome my naturally cheap nature, I’ve decided to try site advertising as a means of making these apps pay for themselves. If you have feedback about the ads, leave it here in the comments. I’ve also considered adding a donation button, though I’m a little squeamish about that one. At least, for now.
Thanks again for listening. I’ll have another episode up this weekend.
